Bio
Dr. Cindy Lam has had her eyes set on optometry since high school, when she realized how influential vision can be to our health. She received her Biological Sciences degree from UC Davis, and ventured to southern California to earn her doctorate of optometry from Western University of Health Sciences. During her externships, she travelled internationally to experience the different cultures of optometry. She cared for patients at the VA hospital of Connecticut, and crossed the Atlantic to see patients in Chengdu, China. Her training includes prescribing for glasses and contacts, as well as evaluating ocular health for any abnormalities including macular degeneration, cataracts, glaucoma, and she manages myopia control and dry eyes. She strives to care for her patient’s vision, health and overall well-being. Dr. Lam is excited to return to her hometown to provide eye care for her favorite community, to all age groups from 6 years old and up. Outside of clinic, she is actively finding the best boba spots and new eats, and keeping up with the pokemon go community.
